What is Racquetball Rebels?
Racquetball Rebels is an entry level program delivered by schools and clubs that is designed to expose juniors to the skills of squash and racquetball.
The fun-centric program provides a pathway for juniors to play any racquet sport in the future as the program focuses on a number of transferrable skills, with one of the most important being hand-eye coordination.
The Racquetball Rebels program is designed in a way that each child is engaged throughout the duration of each session, which simply means less waiting around and more playing!
At Squash & Racquetball Victoria, we truly believe that juniors are the future of the sport. Racquetball Rebels is proudly funded by Sport & Recreation Victoria, and we are so excited to bring it to Victoria over the coming months!
Benefits of Racquetball Rebels
- Provides 45/60 minutes of fun per session, with a minimum of 5 sessions
- Recommended for kids between ages 6-12
- Led by a qualified instructor to help participants along every step of the way.
- Each session provides a range of games and activities designed to build confidence and initial skill development..
- Safe, fun, easy and inclusive for all skill levels
- Increase in Junior participation for clubs
- Sessions can be modified based on the availability of space and time, and can be played on multiple surfaces within the school environment without being confined to a court.
Program Resources
S&RV will be assisting the clubs with:
- Program setup on SportyHQ
- Marketing, administration and coaching resources
- Collection and analysis of participant feedback
- Post program report

Recommended Delivery Model
What is the Cost to Schools / Clubs ?
The following equipment and resources are available for purchase to deliver the program based on the needs of your club or school:
- Digital activity cards (Free)
- Digital promotional material (Free)
- Printed activity cards ($200)
- 1 x equipment bag ($100)
- 20x Stellar balls ($100)
- 24x Stellar Racquetball Racquets ($500)
What is the Cost to Participants? (Applicable Only to clubs)
- Participant Cost = $70 ($50 to club, $20 to S&RV)
- Number of Sessions = 5
- Length of Sessions = 1 hour
Clubs have the option to change any aspect of the recommended delivery model based on their needs.
